Bill is our president & CEO here at Sonitrol of the Carolinas. He has been with Sonitrol for 34 years but has been working in the security industry since he was 19 years old. At the age of 20 he started his own alarm company in Baltimore. He soon learned about Sonitrol and became fascinated with the company. After 5 years he sold his company to the local Sonitrol dealer and moved to Charlotte to become a partner at the existing Sonitrol of Gastonia franchise. By the age of 29 he was the general manager and worked his way up to CEO. Bill has now added 3 more franchises under his belt to make Sonitrol of the Carolinas!
Bill has received many awards including the Charlotte Chamber Entrepreneur of the Year, Dealer of the Year by Sonitrol National Dealers’ Association, Business Journal’s “40 under 40”, Charlotte Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year, Awarded Outstanding Sonitrol Dealer of the Year, and Sonitrol National Dealer Association “Circle Ten” Award.
His favorite thing about Sonitrol is that he loves solving problems for customers and prospects alike with our unique technologies and services.
A fun fact about Bill is that he is also the Founder and Co-Chair of the Queen’s Cup Steeplechase.
